Swiss Luxoft joins the Microsoft Connected Vehicle Platform as it aims to enable personalized connected customer experience for automotive companies.

Luxoft, a DXC Technology Company, is a digital strategy and software engineering company. The company now expands its collaboration with Microsoft to fast-track the delivery of connected vehicle systems and mobility experiences.

Helping automakers improve their service offering

After joining the 'Microsoft Connected Vehicle Platform,' Luxoft will accelerate the delivery of solutions and services. So, what does this mean for automakers? In short, this means that Luxoft enables automakers to deliver unique features like advanced vehicle diagnostics, remote access and repair, and preventive maintenance. Collecting real usage data will also support vehicle engineering to improve manufacturing quality.

"Our collaboration with Microsoft gives automakers control and flexibility for creating highly differentiated, intelligent, and beneficial connected mobility experiences for their customers," Luxoft's president and CEO Dmitry Loschinin, said about the team-up in a press release.

He further remarked, "With our proven solutions and services for connected vehicles, automakers and their key partners are able to get the most out of the Microsoft Connected Vehicle Platform."

Luxoft believes that with recent advances in autonomous and shared vehicles, automakers are looking for new ways to integrate consumers' personalized digital lifestyles into the driving experience.

In a press release, the company state that connected vehicle solutions need to enable potentially millions of vehicles located throughout the world to deliver familiar and intuitive experiences, including infotainment, entertainment, productivity, driver safety, and driver assistance.

By making use of the Microsoft Connected Vehicle Platform, Luxoft says it is co-creating the technology platforms of tomorrow.
